As society moves quickly into the world online, Shumate Auctions will do the same. Online Auctions has, in the past year, become the auction platform of choice for the majority of items sold at Auction. After the initial registering, the bidder will find it is quite simple and basically the same every auction.
To display the ONLINE BIDDING auction, view https://www.kathyshumateauctions.hibid.com from any internet device.
On the first page of the website click on the ONLINE AUCTIONS button and the system will display the ONLINE BIDDING auction header page.
* If you have registered on HiBid.com before, possibly with another Auction Company then under the heading click on "Login/New User" and fill in your User Name and Password.
* IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME, Click on "Login/New User" and then the black square that says "Click Here If You Are A New Bidder". Enter your email address in provided blank and reenter for confirmation. Click CHECK EMAIL button. After the system confirms that the email is correct, it will prompt you for name and contact information. So enter a User Name that you want to be known by and Password, again to confirm the Password. Your email should be displayed automatically. Click CREATE NEW ACCOUNT.
Now you are almost ready to bid. At this point you can sign on with the User Name and Password you just created and view the catalog. BUT, if you are planning on placing any bids, you must enter your Mastercard or Visa.
To do this log on and click the arrow beside your name in the black top bar. On the drop-down menu click "Payment Methods". This is where you enter your Credit Card info . The system will remember your CC info and you will only have to do this again if you want to change the CC on file or expiration date.
When you have finished registering, Click on "CURRENT AUCTIONS" and View Catalog to start your bidding.
I hope you will find this process easy, efficient and logical. Please give me any feedback you feel is important as I am interested in making this a smooth process.
The online auctions provided through this avenue will have stated preview dates so you can come and view the items offered for bidding. Also, there is a computer in the Auction House that you can come and use to place your bids if you need a little help.
